\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has urged the coalition government to avoid indulging in non-issues and make joint initiatives to address public problems on priority grounds.
\nWhile talking to a group of reporters here on Thursday, Shah said the incumbent rulers have failed to come up with expectations of the masses.
\nHe said the current political maneuvering and instability was aimed at diverting attention from real public issues.
\nThe ATP chairman said the rulers who have overwhelmed the country\u2019s political system cannot befool the nation anymore by empty slogans.
\nHe said people have become aware about these deceivable tactics.
\nFaiq warned the day is not far away when the politicians and rulers will be held accountable for their misdeeds and they couldn\u2019t find any place to hide their faces.
\nHe maintained politicians belonging from various political parties have always focused on protection and defending of their \u2018ill-gotten\u2019 money, gaining clean chit in corruption cases and waiting for their own \u2018turn\u2019, but they had never thought and worked for public welfare and interests when they came into power.
\nShah went on to say that his party\u2019s ongoing political and awareness campaign has gained impetus throughout the country, claiming that a large number of people from Khyber to Karachi and Gilgit Baltistan to Kashmir have become part of this vigorous movement.
\nTalking about the current political scenario, the party leader said it is reported that steps are likely to be initiated to apply the \u2018minus-one\u2019 formula after the incident of May 9.
\nHe said the minus-one formula was unworkable under the prevailing circumstances rather it would bring further chaos and anarchy in the country.
\nHe called to desist from any such move to bring further political instability and anarchy in the country.
\nHe re-emphasized that the country cannot be moved ahead until initiation of talks.
\nCommenting on rising miseries confronted by inflation-stricken people, Shah demanded of the government to announce special relief and incentives to underprivileged and poor segments of the society in the forthcoming financial budget.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
