A five-member ECP bench, headed by the chief election commissioner (CEC), conducted the hearing of the contempt of election commission case. Fawad Chaudhry\u2019s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry did not appear before the ECP bench. Faisal Chaudhry\u2019s associate lawyer appeared and told the bench that Faisal Chaudhry was busy in the Sessions Court. He also submitted the cause list of the Session Court to the ECP bench. \u201cThis is an excuse. We wait for Faisal Chaudhry. If he does not come, we will issue show cause notice,\u201d the ECP bench said. The ECP bench issued a show cause notice to Fawad Chaudhry as his lawyer Faisal Chaudhry did not come. The ECP ordered Fawad Chaudhry to appear in person at the next hearing and adjourned further hearing of the case till June 15 next.
