Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has said that the government is making strenuous efforts to preserve economic stability and move the economy towards growth.<\/p>\n
He stated this while talking to Charge’d Affairs, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China Pang Chunxue who called on in Islamabad on Monday.<\/p>\n
He informed the Charge’d Affairs about the progress on the 9th review with IMF stating that Pakistan has successfully reached the staff level agreement.<\/p>\n
He praised the Chinese support to Pakistan on multiple fronts and thanked for the cooperation of Chinese Financial Institutions with Pakistan during last few months.<\/p>\n
Ms Pang Chunxue also appreciated the efforts of the Government of Pakistan to bring economic stability in the country despite difficult economic circumstances.<\/p>\n
