PESHAWAR
\nAmun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah said his party is struggling for provision of social and economic justice as well as political reforms and provision of unprecedented authorities and powers to the masses.
\nA vigorous political and awareness campaign is being carried out from Khyber to Karachi and Gilgit Baltistan to Kashmir, he said.
\nHe claimed a large number of people have become part of the party\u2019s movement.
\nChairing a meeting at the party\u2019s central office on Wednesday, Shah made it clear that the issues cannot be resolved until and unless ensure public authority and powers.
\nHe expressed grave concern over growing social and economic injustices in the society.
\nHe noted all segments of the society adversely suffered by the current oppressive and cruel system.
\nWrit of the government is not seen anywhere and people have left on mercy of hoarders and profiteering, he added.
\nThe ATP chairman said the spiraling price-hike has broken the backbone of the poor people. He said rulers have snatched bread and butter from the mouths of poor masses.
\nHe maintained it has been made difficult to earn livelihoods for their families.
\nFurthermore, he stressed a joint mechanism and roadmap should be crafted to tackle serious challenges and issues, like price-hike, unemployment, poverty, hunger and drought-like situation.
\nThe ATP chairman said the life of the common man has been made miserable.
\nHe said the cost of living has increased exponentially and that it has made it difficult for poor people to fight against the current depressing situation.
\nThe party leader said political victimization has further brought chaos and unrest in the country.
\nHe said NAB has been used against political opponents in past and present only for personal gains and objectives.
\nShah said policy should be shunned to use NAB and other institutions against political rivals.
