\nGulberg Police on Thursday claimed to have solved a blind murder case within three days after the incident.
\nAccording to police, three days ago a person identified as Wajid Hussain was killed in Al-Noor Street area which falls in the limits of Gulberg Police Station.
\nFollowing the incident, a team led by SP Cantt Waqas Rafiq and composed of DSP Cantt Riaz Khalil, SHO Gulberg Qazi Akmal and Investigation Officer Salim Khalil was formed to track down the accused involved in the murder of the deceased Wajid Hussain.
\nDuring the investigation, it came to light that the daughter of the ill-fated Wajid Hussain and her husband Muhammad Junaid were involved in the crime.
\nPolice claimed that the son-in-law and daughter stabbed his father to death over a land dispute. The case was registered on the complaint of Wajid\u2019s son and finally police reached the prime accused and arrested them within three days.
\nThe daughter and son-in-law of the accused have been arrested by police and during the initial investigation they revealed the facts behind the murder.
