Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan announced the reserved judgment. The court while declaring section 4-c of income tax ordinance unconstitutional made explanation with reference to section 4-c in its detailed decision. The court has nullified all notices of demand and recovery of super tax.<br \/>\nSuleman Akram Raja, Adnan Haider Randhawa advocate and others pursued the case on behalf of the petitioners.<br \/>\nIn June Lahore High Court while declaring super tax just had reduced it from 10 percent to 4 percent.<br \/>\nJustice Jawad Hassan had issued 30-page decision wherein it was said that imposition of super tax on major companies with over 300 million rupees income is correct.<br \/>\nUnder law super tax cannot be levied more than 4 percent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>nullified ISLAMABAD Islamabad High Court (IHC) while accepting petitions filed by different companies and institutions has declared imposition of super tax unconstitutional.
