{"id":344828,"date":"2023-07-23T01:01:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-22T20:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=344828"},"modified":"2023-07-23T01:01:52","modified_gmt":"2023-07-22T20:01:52","slug":"cii-unveils-comprehensive-code-of-conduct-for-peace-harmony-in-muharram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/cii-unveils-comprehensive-code-of-conduct-for-peace-harmony-in-muharram\/","title":{"rendered":"CII unveils comprehensive \u2018code of conduct\u2019 for peace, harmony in Muharram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> ISLAMABAD<br \/>\nThe Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) on Saturday took a momentous step towards strengthening the values and principles that form the bedrock of Pakistan\u2019s identity by unveiling a comprehensive \u201ccode of conduct\u201d.<br \/>\nAddressing the press conference after a consultative meeting with prominent religious scholars and leaders, Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz said the code, aimed at maintaining peace and tranquillity, particularly during the month of Muharramul Haram across the country, emphasised the importance of upholding the Constitution, respecting the dignity of fundamental rights, and remaining loyal to the state under all circumstances.<br \/>\nHe said the newly-introduced code placed the duty on every citizen to acknowledge and abide by the constitutional authority of the state, demonstrating unwavering allegiance to it and its institutions.<br \/>\nHe said that the key aspects of the code revolved around upholding the dignity and respect of fundamental rights as outlined in the Constitution.
