\nReham Khan, a seasoned journalist and the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, has garnered attention once more and this time for her footwear selection.
\nThe internet was buzzing with rumours about the television personality\u2019s fashionable shoes when she posted pictures of her trip to Pakistan with her husband, Mirza Bilal, on social media. On her official Instagram account, Reham has been sharing photos from her visit to the stunning green mountains in the Hazara area.
\nHer most recent image, in which she is shown wearing Peshawari chappals\u2014a kind of shoe also worn by her ex-husband Khan\u2014drew the most attention from the internet because of her shoes. The television host wore a cool pastel blue outfit with a traditional chappal in a deep shade of maroon.
\nKhan cited an American author, Delia Owens, who wrote a poem on sunsets, in the caption of her photo in which she is seated on a chair. \u201cSunsets are never simple; Where the Crawdads sing.\u201d She sits and looks lost in contemplation in one of the two pictures, while grinning at the camera in the other.
\nIn a different tweet, Khan praised the Pakistani clothing company whose clothes she was wearing while standing beside a tree with mountains in the backdrop. \u201cProud of our Pakistani fashion our Pakistani Textile industry that everyone around the world admires & wants. Pakistani Lawn Collections are unique & exquisite,\u201d the media personality wrote in her caption.
\nHowever, the Peshawari chappals she wore caught the attention of the internet, splitting opinions regarding her humorous choice of clothing.While some admired her chappal, others have criticised her style, calling her out for imitating her ex-husband.
\nReferring to Reham imitating the PTI chief, a user wrote: \u201cKhan sahib k chorii kr k ly gae shoes (She has stolen Khan sahib\u2019s shoes).\u201d Another said: Take off the shoes given by Imran Khan. One Instagram user mentioned that Rehma is trying hard to get \u201cattention\u201d.
