\nIslamabad Capital Police Koral and Phulgran police teams have arrested three wanted members of criminal gangs involved in numerous snatching and theft activities and recovered snatched mobile phone, motorbike and weapons with ammunition used in crime from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
\nHe said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
\nFollowing these directions, a Koral police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in snatching activities. The accused were identified as Fasi ud din and Hamza Azram. Police team also recovered a mobile phone, motorbike and weapons with ammunition used in crime from their possession.
\nMeanwhile, the Phulgran police team also apprehended a wanted member of a motorbike lifter gang involved in motorbike theft incidents. Police team also recovered spare parts of a stolen motorbike from his possession. The accused was identified as Haider Ali.
\nCases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous theft incidents in various areas of the city.
\nCPO\/ DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in house burglar activities and said that safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
