Police say network involved in ice smuggling to Iran, Dubia

\nPESHAWAR
\nPolice on Tuesday claimed to have successfully busted an organized network of smugglers involved in ice-smuggling to neighbouring countries,said a handout.
\nThe operation, led by DSP Sher Afzal Khan and comprised of SHO Police Station Sarband Kaleemullah and others, resulted in the seizure of two kilogram of Ice and arrest of three suspects.
\nThe arrested persons have been identified as Aqeel Khan, Hakeem Khan and Yar Khan residents of Sheen Qamar, an area of tribal district Khyber.
\nDuring preliminary investigation, the arrested suspects have confessed to being involved in the nefarious ice trade and identified the entire network.
\nA total of 2 kg of ice has been recovered from the secret compartments of the vehicle.
\nSimilarly, the vehicle used in drug smuggling has also been taken into police custody.
\nContacts are also being made at DPO Khyber district and diplomatic level for the arrest of other accused of the network
