The PPP chairman was addressing a ceremony held to award houses to Sindh flood affectees in Ghotki on Wednesday.<br \/>\n He said that the Sindh government has started a programme to give propriety rights to build houses two weeks ago. Bilawal announced that the government would erect cemented houses in areas where the dwellings were collapsed due to rain and floods.<br \/>\nHe said Sindh was the worst-hit province when the catastrophic floods struck Pakistan last year. He said women would be empowered in Sindh. He said that the provincial government is giving interest-free loans across the province.<br \/>\nHe maintained that the provincial government has made such programmes which would benefit people. He said fate of millions of families has been changed due to Benazir Income Support Programme.<br \/>\nOn this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that 24 out of 27 districts of Sindh were hit by floods. He said the most affected segment of the society were farmers. He said due to the efforts of PPP Chairman Bilawal, the UN secretary general came to Pakistan to see the large-scale destruction caused by the floods. He said that the Sindh government got funds for the building of schools and hospitals. He said that the Asian Bank loan has been used to improve schools across the province.<br \/>\nSindh CM Shah said that 2.1 million houses were damaged completely and partially in Ghutki. He said that 82,000 houses have been repaired in the district.
