\nIndian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, expressed his opinions about the significant anticipations surrounding the clashes between India and Pakistan.
\nThese two teams are scheduled to compete on the 2nd of September in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 scheduled in Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
\nIn a recent interview with Star Sports, Jadeja emphasized that while there is undeniable anticipation and pressure associated with India-Pakistan matches, every game featuring India holds a significant level of importance for the team.
\n\u201cWhen there\u2019s a match between India and Pakistan, there are high expectations to win, but for us, any match involving India holds the same level of importance as an India-Pakistan match. However, yes, the India-Pakistan match garners more attention, and we strive to perform to the best of our abilities,\u201d he said.
\nIn the all-rounder\u2019s perspective, the key factor is to put forth maximum effort and perform with the intention of winning.
\nHe stressed that the players give their utmost on the field, and while victory is the ultimate goal, it\u2019s essential to accept that results may not always align with expectations.
\n\u201cWe aim to deliver our performance and play as well as we can, but sometimes, things don\u2019t go as planned. This is a game, and the players from both sides are representing their respective countries. In my opinion, both teams are in the game to win. While you can put in proper focus and give your 100% on the field, there\u2019s no guarantee of a particular outcome,\u201d he said.
