The event took place on 14 August 2023 at the university campus, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to commemorate the historic day.
\nThe day started with the unfurling of the national flag in a dignified flag hoisting ceremony. The flag was hoisted by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Registrar, amidst a gathering of attendees who stood united in their love for the country.
\nAs a symbol of unity and joy, a beautifully crafted Independence Day cake was cut by Vice chancellor prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir along with faculty members spread an atmosphere of festivity and camaraderie. The cake-cutting ceremony was met with cheers and applause from the attendees.
\nContinuing their commitment to environmental sustainability, KFUEIT also organized a tree plantation drive during the event. Numerous saplings were planted on the university campus as part of their effort to contribute to a greener and healthier environment.
