ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday denied reports of \u2018differences within PTI\u2019, saying \u201cno one can replace party chief Imran Khan.\u201d Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi termed the reports of differences within PTI\u2019s core committee \u2018false\u2019 and said a media group was trying to spread confusion among the party\u2019s ranks. \u201cThere is no truth to such reports, no one is replacing Imran Khan,\u201d the PTI vice chairman said. He pointed out that PTI\u2019s Core Committee is working in a difficult situation and such fake news is a disinformation conspiracy. \u201cThe core committee is the custodian of the party chairmanship until Imran Khan\u2019s release from prison,\u201d he added. Meanwhile, Qureshi also condemned the \u2018action\u2019 against PTI leader Usman Dar, saying that sealing the latter\u2019s property and factory was a \u2018highly condemnable\u2019 act. \u201cUsman Dar\u2019s mother, family and children were evicted from the house at midnight,\u201d he said, lambasting the authorities over such acts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy such actions are being taken?\u201d asked Qureshi, calling upon
\nCaretaker Prime Minister (CM) Anwaarul Haq Kakar and saying he was
\nresponsible for conducive environment for elections and urged him to
\nplay his due role.<\/p>\n
He also urged Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial to take
\nnotice of such acts.<\/p>\n
Shah Mehmood further said that holding timely elections was the
\nresponsibility of the authorities concerned under the Constitution. He
\nwarned that there would be gross violation if the elections were not
\nheld within 90 days.<\/p>\n
Talking about the delimitations of constituencies, Qureshi said that the
\nConstitution was supreme and any other subsidiary act would not have any
\nweightage. He stated that they would challenge the suspected delaying
\ntactics before the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
\u201cSenate Ali Zafar is working on the petition on behalf of the party and
\nSalman Akram Raja sahib has also prepared his plea on behalf Imran Khan
\nto challenge the decisions of the CCI,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
He stated that there were two interim chief ministers in the CCI and
\ntherefor e its composition did not have any legal value. Pakistan Bar
\nCouncil, he said, issued a press release while the Supreme Court Bar
\nAssociation approached the SC for timey elections.<\/p>\n
Keeping in mind the thoughts of the SCBA and Pakistan Bar Council,
\nQureshi said he was firmed that the whole legal fraternity was united on
