\nDIG Tanveer Alam Odho has said that the committee inquiring into the murder of journalist Jan Mohammad Mahar inspecting all aspects of the high-profile murder case.
\n\u201cI have met the complainant and witnesses of the murder case today,\u201d DIG Tanveer Alam Odho, who is heading the special committee inquiring into the murder of journalist Jan Mohammad Mahar, told media here.
\n\u201cI have visited the crime scene and examined police papers of the case,\u201d he said. \u201cWe will move the probe forward on the basis of evidence,\u201d DIG Odho said.
\n\u201cWe are also reviewing statements of the accused in police remand,\u201d he further said.
\n\u201cChemical examination, forensic and geo-fencing reports will be received within two weeks,\u201d he further said.
\n\u201cThe family of the deceased being provided foolproof security,\u201d the police officer said.
\n\u201cIt is a high-profile case, we are trying to look into all aspects of the murder case,\u201d he added.
