{"id":350834,"date":"2023-08-22T09:06:58","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T04:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=350834"},"modified":"2023-08-22T09:06:58","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T04:06:58","slug":"fia-busts-forgery-scheme-at-torkham-border","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/fia-busts-forgery-scheme-at-torkham-border\/","title":{"rendered":"FIA Busts Forgery Scheme at Torkham Border"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Among the three arrested individuals were local residents as well as Afghan nationals<br \/>\nKHYBER<br \/>\nThree persons including two Afghan nationals and a Pakistani were arrested in case of producing and creating fake travelling documents in Torkham.<br \/>\nAssistant Director(AD) Federal Investigative Agency(FIA)Torkham,Yasir Arafat said that on August 19, a Kabul bound citizen namely Naeem Khan, presented his fake Pak-Afghan Dosti Hospital patient referral chat(slip) to the on duty FIA official at Integrated Visual Analysis System(IVAS) for his departure on the basis.<br \/>\nBeing suspicious he was briefly investigated by the shift in charge Taufeeq Khan(SI) where the passenger disclosed that the fake document was provided by a local identified as Safeerullah son of Bagugaa resident of Landi Kotal by paying him twenty thousand rupees.<br \/>\nAD Yasir Arafat added that on the said information a raid was conducted by the FIA at the shop of the alleged culprit, located at Taxi stand(Adda)at Torkham and detained two persons. The detainees were identified as Hussainullah son of Rehmanullah of Bannu and Attaullah son of Mian Gul of Nangarhar, Afghanistan present at that time in shop and were shifted for interrogation. Four stamps of different nature were also recovered on the occasion, the official added.<br \/>\nKeeping in view the international status of the border, the official vowed that efforts would be made to discourage illegitimate movement at the crossing.<br \/>\nIt is to be mentioned here that FIA officials have started curbing human trafficking and unlawful penetration at Torkham border and last month they apprehended a doctor in the Dosti hospital and a Frontier Corp nursing staff  who were allegedly involved in illegal crossing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Among the three arrested individuals were local residents as well as Afghan nationals KHYBER Three persons including two Afghan nationals and a Pakistani were arrested in case of producing and creating fake travelling documents in Torkham.
