\nAmun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah while commenting on controversy on two crucial bills, said that the country couldn\u2019t afford any constitutional crisis under the prevailing circumstances.
\nShah in a statement here on Wednesday said President of Pakistan Arif Alvi\u2019s tweet has stirred up commotion in the country.
\nHe stressed this crucial issue should be resolved with mutual consensus.
\nThe political, constitutional, legal and parliamentary history of Pakistan is witnessing such a crisis for the first time, he claimed.
\nExpressing grave concern over rising power tariffs, Shah said the caretaker government endorsed policies of the previous coalition government by taking anti-masses initiatives.
\nHe said the right to life has been snatched from poor people while the situation is going from bad to worse with each passing day.
\nFaiq said prices have touched a new peak and the purchasing power of the common man is rapidly dying. He added no one is paying heed to miseries of inflation-stricken people.
\nThe party chief condemned adopting the policy of political vendetta.
\nHe said timely elections are imperative to end the political, economic and constitutional crisis.
\nCommenting on the unfortunate chairlift incident that occurred in Battagram KP district, Shah lauded teamwork for successful chairlift rescue operation.
\nShah expressed his gratitude to the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, rescue departments, district administration and all related organizations who participated in the rescue operation.
