{"id":354264,"date":"2023-09-07T08:01:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-07T03:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=354264"},"modified":"2023-09-07T08:01:59","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T03:01:59","slug":"jamal-shah-for-promoting-different-components-of-tangible-intangible-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/jamal-shah-for-promoting-different-components-of-tangible-intangible-heritage\/","title":{"rendered":"Jamal Shah for promoting different components of tangible &#038; intangible heritage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> ISLAMABAD<br \/>\nInterim Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah Wednesday stressed on promoting different components of tangible and intangible heritage.<br \/>\nAddressing the concluding ceremony of three-day event titled \u201cDisplay of work by Cinema Sign Board Painters here at Lok Virsa Heritage Museum, the minister said that Culture division is devising a plan to document and preserve the dying traditional skills and creativity.<br \/>\nLok Virsa organized the cultural exhibition of cinema board painting in connection with Pakistan Defense Day in which famous painters from all over the country participated.<br \/>\nThe minister said that 6th of September is a milestone in our history.<br \/>\nOn this day in 1965, the Armed Forces and people of Pakistan thwarted the enemy\u2019s nefarious designs, he added. He said that the courage and valour they demonstrated has no parallel in history.<br \/>\nJamal Shah said that the nation salutes the Martyrs and \u2018Ghazi\u2019 who gave supreme sacrifices for the defence and security of the motherland. The Minister said that cinema board painters from all over the country serve to disseminate the creativity of this almost vanished art of the country.<br \/>\nFederal Minister Jamal Shah who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that National Heritage and Culture Division would promote indigenous folk cultural heritage of the country. He also apprised the audience that National Heritage and Culture Division and its attached departments were planning to hold a national level conference.<br \/>\nA large number of twin cities residents took interest in the exhibition. \u201cI am happy that Lok Virsa has organized this important exhibition on Cinema board painting\u201d, he added. This art, which is almost extinct now, is in dire need of promotion.<br \/>\nThe folk singers paid glowing tribute to the Martyrs, \u2018Ghazis\u2019 and National heros.
