\nCity Traffic Police Peshawar on Sunday released performance report of the last 8 months said that action has been taken against 9,28,156 people for violating the traffic rules.
\nAccording to the report around 16.71 million have been received as fines from the violators and deposited in the national treasury.
\nOn the instructions of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Khan, under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer Qamar Hayat Khan, for the first time in the provincial capital Peshawar, traffic wardens were called to the traffic school to ensure the implementation of traffic rules and to adopt a better attitude towards citizens.
