A trailblazer in the world of fashion and women empowerment, Fashion Bee, hosted a guided tour of its industry and launched the Artisan Centre for empowering the skilled artisans and professionals. The event was held at the Centre for Excellence & Advanced Studies (CAS).
\nChief Guest on the occasion, wife of the Ambassador of Italy, Mrs. Albana Planeja formally cut the ribbon to inaugurate the centre.
\nWhile appreciating the Fashion Bee\u2019s initiative and the joint efforts of the CAS and the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) Albana Planeja hoped the centre would serve to achieve the goal of artisans\u2019 empowerment and open new possibilities for education exchange programmes.
\n“We are one big family,” she reaffirmed. Let\u2019s utilize the resources available to strengthen ties and promote entrepreneurship, she called upon the audience.
\nThe event was attended by a large number of businesswomen, women entrepreneurs, art and fashion lovers, youths, artisans and the locals.
\nRizwana Asif President IWCCI and Mrs Naima Ansari, former President IWCCI were the guests of honour on the occasion. The event commenced with a warm welcome note by Chairman of the CAS Junaid Elahi who shared how Fashion Bee was seamlessly fusing tradition with innovation, paving the way for international market expansion. The brand’s visionary plans for digitalization and its unwavering commitment to supporting both students and artisans were also highlighted during the event.
