\nPakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said on Friday that there were no alterations in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif\u2019s return plans.
\nSpeaking to a private television channel in London, Ms Nawaz said: \u201cThe preparations to welcome Nawaz Sharif to the country are going on with great verve. We will give a great response to those who are doing propaganda regarding Nawaz Sharif\u2019s return.\u201d
\nEarlier, former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday also claimed that there was \u2018no change\u2019 in the return plan of his brother and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif as the latter is set to land in Pakistan on October 21.
\nShehbaz Sharif rushed back to London merely hours after he returned to the country from the UK, a development that gave way to rumours regarding a possible change in travel plans of Nawaz Sharif.
\nShehbaz Sharif \u2013 while talking to journalists \u2013 said that he returned to London on directions of Nawaz Sharif. \u201cNo change was made in return plan of PML-N supremo,\u201d he added.
\nIn response to a question, Shehbaz said he never visited Gujranwala and did not hold a meeting.
\nEarlier on Thursday, Ms Nawaz headed to London along with her younger daughter.
\nFew days back Ms Nawaz said that the efforts to debar former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from politics harmed the country.
\nAddressing the party workers in Islamabad, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser praised PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. \u201cNawaz will bring prosperity following his return to the country,\u201d she added.
\n\u201cNawaz wants to address the masses\u2019 problems by getting rid of the red-hot inflation and uplifting the country. The PML-N supremo faced the political vendetta against him with patience and bravery. Nawaz Sharif had to face punishment for saving the country from economic hardships,\u201d Ms Nawaz added.Schooling the opponents, Ms Nawaz said, \u201cThe conspirators wanted to drag the country into an economic quagmire.\u201d
\nIn connection with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ms Nawaz said, \u201cOnly Nawaz Sharif had completed the programme with the international lender successfully. He took the country\u2019s economic growth to 6.1 percent.\u201d
\n\u201cIf the journey of development, which was started by Nawaz Sharif, continued, Today, the country could not have to face the crisis, and even the petrol price could remain stable,\u201d Ms Nawaz maintained.
\n\u201cDuring the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, the price of flour, ghee, and sugar remained stable. It was during his tenure that inflation dropped significantly and broke the 47-year-old record,\u201d Ms Nawaz stated.
