\nThe Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) has announced it will launch a mass contact campaign throughout the country.
\nThe announcement came after unveiling the Election Commission of Pakistan date for conduct of general elections in the last week of January 2024.
\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the ATP addressing the party central executive committee meeting on Friday said that his party has fully prepared to participate in general elections.
\nHe said the party will field its candidates on national and provincial assembly seats.
\n\u201cOur manifesto is to ensure provision of social, economic justice, public authorities and solving their basic public problems at doorstep,\u201d
\nFaiq asserted that people should support new political parties and manifesto, if they want real change and provision of justice, facilities and resolution of issues on priority grounds.
\nHe noted that the lust of power is endless, as the former coalition partners have once again gathered to get reign.
\nTalking about the ECP\u2019s announcement about general elections date, Shah said the election commission and caretaker government should take all possible steps to ensure transparency in general elections.
\nThe party leader went on to say that someone betrayed people in the name of Roti, Kapra and Makan and someone made false claims of change and other tactics.
\nHowever, he made it clear that people cannot get deceived by fake promises and claims anymore.
\nShah called upon the people to come forward to eliminate dynastic politics and give vote to new political parties and workable\/viable manifesto wherein manifesto and program would be important.
\nATP is making a struggle for such public authority, justice and real democracy, Shah said, saying our destination is economic revolution and social change which will be achieved at all cost.
\nThe party chief said institutions were destroyed for personal interests, gain, power and greediness.
\nHe called the destruction of institutions a greater crime than corruption.
\nPeople are awaiting the dawning sun of \u2018even-handed\u2019 accountability and reforms in the country, he added.
\nShah said basic amenities had been snatched while people were burdened with a number of taxes, which made their life miserable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
