The FIA produced Khalid Jameel in the court and sought a 10-day physical remand of the accused. Jahangir Jadoon and Naveed Malik, lawyers for the journalist, appeared before the court and opposed the request for remand. \u201cEvery citizen has the right to freedom of expression in Pakistan,\u201d lawyer Naveed Malik argued before the court. DNA<br \/>\n\u201cThe FIA violated its own SOPs. The Islamabad High Court\u2019s (IHC) decision was violated with the arrest of the journalist,\u201d he added.<br \/>\n\u201cThe case against him should be discharged,\u201d he demanded.<br \/>\nThe court reserved the decision after the arguments of the lawyers.
