\nSecretary BISP Amer Ali Ahmed welcomes the new Chairperson

\nChairman BISP, Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, was comprehensively briefed about BISP and its multifaceted initiatives aimed at uplifting the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable segments of society, which includes Benazir Kafaalat, Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, and the Benazir Nashonuma Programme.
\nThe meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the pivotal role of the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER), Dynamic Registry in the registration of impoverished families in BISP. Furthermore, the discussion extended to the forthcoming Hybrid Social Protection initiative, which promises to bring transformative changes in the lives of beneficiaries and non-formal workers.
\nDr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, the newly appointed Chairman BISP, Board, emphasized the need to promote financial literacy and social agenda among BISP beneficiaries. He expressed a strong desire to enhance the image of BISP by improving payment mechanisms through banks and addressing the grievances of beneficiaries. He called for unwavering support from the BISP team to collectively move in the right direction.
\nChairperson BISP also stressed the importance of ensuring transparency, missionary spirit and credibility within the organization, making it more appealing for both organizations and individual philanthropists to contribute towards its noble cause. He highlighted the crucial issues of data sanctity and preventing unauthorized deductions, reaffirming BISP\u2019s commitment to its beneficiaries.
