The Supreme Court is due to hear the review petitions on December 28 but the Pemra has state that it did not want to pursue it.<br \/>\nIt may be mentioned that on Tuesday the Intelligence Bureau had urged the apex court to also allow it to withdraw its review petition against the Faizabad sit-in judgement. On the other hand, Sheikh Rashid\u2019s counsel had filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking adjournment of hearing of his petition against the Faizabad sit-in judgement.<br \/>\nHe petitioned that Sh Rashid was in custody and he was unable to make any contact with him. The lawyer further stated that since Sh Rashid\u2019s advocate had now become provincial law minister, he could not be presented before the court in the case.<br \/>\nThe Supreme Court has fixed September 28 for the hearing of a set of review petitions against its verdict on the 2017 sit-in by the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) at Faizabad in Islamabad. A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and comprising Justice Aminud Din Khan and Justice Athar Minallah will take up review petitions on Thursday (tomorrow).<br \/>\nThe pleas were moved by the Ministry of Defence, Intelligence Bureau, PTI, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Pemra.
