\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s Caretaker Minister of Information and Public Relations, Barrister Firoz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, has issued a stern condemnation in response to the recent acts of terror in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Mastung, Balochistan.
\nIn the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Doaba Hangu, Minister Kakakhel expressed his profound sorrow and condemnation. He praised the swift and valiant response of the Hangu police, which resulted in the containment of the attack at the gate.
\n\u201cThanks to the decisive action taken by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, a potentially catastrophic loss of life was averted, though regrettably, four individuals martyred, and 12 others were injured during the incident\u201d, he said.
\nImmediately following the attack, an emergency response was activated, with hospitals mobilizing to provide essential medical care to the injured he added. Minister Kakakhel revealed that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mohammad Azam Khan promptly demanded a comprehensive report on the incident and instructed Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Inspector General of Police to personally assess the situation on the ground. Minister Kakakhel praised the unwavering commitment and bravery of the Hangu Police, emphasizing that their well-coordinated actions were instrumental in saving lives. This incident serves as a testament to the capabilities of our law enforcement agencies in thwarting various forms of terrorist threats.<\/p>\n
He further acknowledged that the people of the province have confronted a grave wave of terrorism in recent times, asserting the collective resolve of the nation to combat this menace effectively. Minister Kakakhel affirmed that all law enforcement agencies are on alert, and collaborative efforts are underway to address these security challenges.<\/p>\n
The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains resolute in its determination to eradicate terrorism. A comprehensive plan of action has been devised, with a commitment to ensuring that terrorists do not achieve their objectives. Significant efforts are being undertaken to modernize and reinforce the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police to meet contemporary security requirements he said.<\/p>\n
