Citizen Asher Sarfaraz filed a petition for contempt of court against Chief Secretary Punjab in which Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman was made a respondent in petition. He took stance that he filed a petition for the formation of judicial commission to investigate Jaranwala tragedy. Online<br \/>\nLahore High Court ordered the Chief Secretary to take a decision on pending petition in accordance with law.<br \/>\nDespite the court order, Chief Secretary did not make decision within 15 days.
