{"id":361482,"date":"2023-10-14T08:49:54","date_gmt":"2023-10-14T03:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=361482"},"modified":"2023-10-14T08:49:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-14T03:49:54","slug":"geo-tagging-of-5569-health-establishments-completed-in-kp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/geo-tagging-of-5569-health-establishments-completed-in-kp\/","title":{"rendered":"Geo-tagging of 5569 health establishments completed in KP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> PESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission has completed the registration and geo-tagging process of around 6741 healthcare establishments in the province from July to September this year.<br \/>\nAccording to a quarterly report issued by the commission here on Friday significant developments in healthcare regulation and quality enhancement have taken place across KP.<br \/>\nKey achievements include the progress of a flagship project, capacity building, licensing, and assessment of healthcare centers, efforts to eradicate quackery, public awareness campaigns, support for the Sehat Card Plus Programme, complaints redressal, and regulation of cardiac catheterization laboratories.<br \/>\nCommission\u2019s flagship project involves the development of a comprehensive healthcare centres database and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping of healthcare establishments (HCEs).<br \/>\nDuring this quarter, 1,172 HCEs were registered, and 5,569 were geo-tagged in the field.<br \/>\nThe Commission regularly provides training to the staff of healthcare centers on Minimum Service Delivery Standards.<br \/>\nIn the last quarter, 97 staff members of 44 health centres were trained and a total number of staff trained so far is 373.Provisional licences were awarded to 44 Hospitals during this quarter.<br \/>\nExpert assessors evaluated 25 hospitals across the province.<br \/>\nThe Commission utilizes a comprehensive strategy to combat quackery, encompassing the facilitation of registration of qualified healthcare providers, the execution of eradication campaigns, and the enhancement of public awareness.In this quarter, HCC teams inspected a total of 1,319 health facilities.<br \/>\nOut of which 454 were issued notices, and 163 were sealed due to non-compliance with regulations.The Commission is actively backing the Sehat Card Plus Programme and is in the process of developing assessment criteria for secondary and tertiary care hospitals.<br \/>\nThe Commission received 565 complaints during this quarter and successfully resolved 342.<br \/>\nThe Commission regulates Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories by developing and refining reference manuals and checklists for assessments.<br \/>\nThe Chief Executive Officer KP Health Care Commission Dr Nadeem Akhtar expressed that this report reflects the Commission\u2019s commitment to enhancing patient safety and healthcare quality in the province.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission has completed the registration and geo-tagging process of around 6741 healthcare establishments in the province from July to September this year.
