General elections in 90 days
\n ISLAMABAD
\nA three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) will hear the case regarding holding general elections in 90 days in the Supreme Court from Monday (Today).
\nNotices have also been issued to the parties in this case.
\nRemember that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamaat-e-Islami and the Supreme Court Bar Association filed applications in the Supreme Court for the date of holding general elections within 90 days of the dissolution of the National Assembly.
\nPresident of the Supreme Court Bar Association Abid Shahid Zuberi had also challenged the decision of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) to conduct the general elections within 90 days and conduct elections under new constituencies in the petition filed under Article 184\/3 of the Constitution.
