ISLAMABAD
\nAll Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has challenged in Supreme Court (SC) decision of cancellation of its registration. APML was founded by former president Pervez Musharraf. In the petition filed in SC it has been requested that the EC decision regarding APML be declared null and void and registration of APML be restored.
\nAPML has requested to allot it eagle as election symbol.
\nIt has been said in the petition that EC is not authorized to interfere in internal matters of political parties. EC cannot decide disputes regarding intra party election of political parties.
\nEC trespassed its legal and constitutional mandate. EC withdrew election symbol to favor IPP and Jahangir Tareen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
