\nAmun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah said Pakistan and Afghanistan have tied in brotherly and mutual relation and called for the repatriation of Afghan citizens should be carried out in a dignified manner.
\nThe party leader said Pakistan hosted Afghan brothers for the last four decades and their repatriation as per law, and couldn\u2019t see it as an obstacle in relations between two neighbouring countries.
\nShah in a statement here on Thursday said peace is highly indispensable in both these countries for regional progress.
\nFurthermore, he said the whole world left Afghans people alone but Pakistan always supports them and Afghan citizens are fully sensing it.
\nThe ATP chief said the linking strain relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan with the return of Afghans citizens is condemnable.
\nShah emphasized it is essential to send back to Afghan citizens legally, brotherhood and regional requirements.
\nAfter the repatriation, the ATP chief expressed hope that the well-educated Afghans, especially those people who have talent and latest technological thinking would offer their services for putting the country on a path of sustainable progress and growth.
\nFaiq noted Pakistan has paid a huge price and gained loss in the Afghan war, and society and state bear wounds that were yet not been healed, and incurred billions of dollars loss as well.
\nThis is Pakistan and Afghanistan brotherly relation which can only bear it, he added.
\nHe said the return of Afghan citizens should not be politicized.
\nShah denounced unnecessary criticism and hateful statements by Afghan cricketers against Pakistan after winning a match from greenshirt in ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India, calling it an individual mindset or thinking.
\nThe ATP chairman maintained the actual purpose is peace, stability and development in the region, which should be retained.
