\nPakistani leaders on Sunday said that Pakistan wants to further enhance strategic partnership with people of Turkiye.
\nIn their separate messages on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Turkiye, President President Dr Arif Alvi, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Former prime minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi have reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s abiding commitment to further cement its multidimensional strategic ties with Turkiye, especially in the economic domain.
\nPresident Arif Alvi caretaker has congratulated the President and people of Turkiye.
\n\u201cOn behalf of the people of Pakistan and the government of Pakistan, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the auspicious occasion of 100th anniversary of Republic of Turkiye which was found on October 29 in 1923 under the charismatic leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the great leader of Turkiye,\u201d President Alvi said in his video message.
\nHe said the relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye had been very old, even before the formation of Turkiye and Pakistan when there was a great friendship of people of this region and the people Turkiye.
\nHe highlighted that the good relationship was evident from the fact that people along with relief goods from this region were sent to fight along with them in the Russian battle which Turkiye had always reciprocated.
\nThe president believed that a tremendous progress had been made under the outstanding leadership of Tayyip Erdogan while at the same time there had been a great leadership shown in the issues of the Muslim world by the current Turkiye leadership.
\nThe outstanding friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye is based on mutual understanding on world issues as well as Turkiye stood by us on Kashmir, the president said.
\nHe said the Turkish president had taken bold stance on the recent brutal events happening in Gaza. He believed that the Muslim world would also take a bold stance on this very painful issue of Gaza and on the issue of Kashmir as well.
\nThe president said the world had forgotten how the Muslims had always welcome people from all all religions in Anatolia and Andalus throughout history.
\n\u201cI believe tremendous progress has been shown by my brother in Turkiye and I must express a brotherly bond between both our people which is everlasting and which will hold forever,\u201d he remarked.
\nIn a felicitation message to people of Turkiye on the occasion of the 100th Republic Day of the country, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said we have taken concrete steps to further solidify economic ties with Turkiye, including the signing of the Trade in Goods Agreement (TGA) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF).
\nThe Prime Minister said robust economic partnership and strengthened connectivity will serve as important pillars to steer our bilateral relationship in years ahead.
\nPM Kakar highlighted that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy fraternal relations rooted in abiding ties of religion, culture and history.
\nHe said institutional mechanisms including the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF) have provided a leadership-driven, people-centric and future-oriented focus to steer Pak-Turkiye bilateral partnership in areas such as defence, economy, health, education, agriculture, tourism and culture.
\nHe praised the impressive strides made by Turkiye during the last one hundred years, especially under the dynamic leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
\nFormer prime minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic, saying that a democratic and prosperous T\u00fcrkiye is a factor of stability in the region and the Islamic world, especially at a time of massive global tumult.
\nIn a tweet posted on X (formerly Twitter), former premier Shehbaz Sharif wrote: \u201cIt is my pleasure to congratulate my brother H.E. President Tayyip Erdogan and the people of T\u00fcrkiye on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic.
\n\u201cToday we reflect on and celebrate the massive strides T\u00fcrkiye has made in different fields of life. The 100 years has [sic] witnessed many tests and trials for the Turkish brothers and sisters. Unfazed by the enormity of the challenges, they persevered and turned the problems into opportunities.
\n\u201cA democratic and prosperous T\u00fcrkiye is a factor of stability in the region and the Islamic world, especially at a time of massive global tumult. With shared history and common faith, our brotherhood defies all description, for Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye aptly fit the formulation of One Nation living in two states.

\nPunjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi also congratulated to the leadership and people of Turkiye on the 100th National Day of the Republic.
\nIn his message, CM Naqvi said that the 100th anniversary of Turkiye\u2019s Republic Day is a source of great joy for Pakistanis. He said that Turkiye is an important Islamic country on the world scene. The efforts of the Turkish people and leadership for the development of Turkey are commendable, he added.
\nThe chief minister said that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy a unique story of friendship and love. He said that both countries stand side by side for support and cooperation in every difficult hour.
\nHe said the government is trying to promote mutual partnership and brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkiye. He eulogized the wonderful services of various Turkish institutions in Punjab.
\nHe said both Pakistan and Turkiye are Islamic brothers which have the same culture, history, and civilization, so our friendship is ideal.
\nThe Turkish Republic, founded by the national independence hero Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, has turned 100 today.
\nThis day, a hundred years ago, the great Turkish nation secured the ultimate victory by defeating foreign occupation and imperialism.
\nUnyielding determination, courage and unity exhibited by the Turkish nation laid the foundation of Turkiye\u2019s liberation, independence and national sovereignty.
\nIn their heroic struggle against the foreign occupation through the war of Independence, the valiant Turkish nation was wholeheartedly supported by the Muslims of South Asia.
\nMeanwhile, Pakistan Embassy in Turkiye has felicitated brotherly people of Turkiye on 100th Republic Day of the country.
