\nThe provincial department for religious affairs has successfully completed a trainings project for teachers and students of madrassas.
\nAccording to a statement, more than 1,000 students and teachers of different madrassas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were given training held in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Bannu and Nowshera.
\nA five-days- training program was scheduled for each designated district.
\nTechnical support for the project was provided by Muttahida Ulema Board KP. Under the project, teachers and students of various seminaries were trained on personality building, social empowerment, job-related guidance, effective mode of expression, entrepreneurship, inter-religious and interfaith harmony, citizenship and personal responsibilities.
\nTraining and awareness were also imparted on right to service and voting, respect for differences and search for commonalities, use of technology and other topics.
\nChief Khateeb Maulana Tayyab Qureshi was the chief guest on the occasion. Mufti Zafar Zaman Focal Person religious affairs department, Maulana Obaid Rehman Member Muttahida Ulema Board, Maulana Rais Khan, Maulana Merajuddin Sarkani, Sirat Department Peshawar University Chairman Dr Zahir Shah and other prominent scholars and senior government officials were present.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, the speakers highlighted various aspects of the project and said that the importance of religious sciences as well as modern sciences and modern technology cannot be denied. The ulema reiterated their full support and support to the government\u2019s initiatives to bring the students of madrassas into the mainstream.
\nThe speakers further said that such projects would help the students of madrasa in their practical life. It will help to get employment opportunities. There will be tolerance, unity and unity in the society.
\nChief Guest Maulana Tayyab Qureshi while addressing the gathering said that the project has proved effective in making the students of religious seminaries useful citizens and increasing the capacity of the students, employment principles and other social issues. Hope has to be created among the youth. Scholars have to play a role together with all institutions to fix the country\u2019s economy.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, the religious scholars described the importance of vaccination and population control as important in the light of the guidelines of the Council of Islamic Ideology.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Maulana Tayyab Qureshi lauded the efforts of the Department of Religious Affairs and paid tribute to Project Consultant Liaison Corporation Private Limited for its excellent services and arrangements.
