During the festival, Vice-Chancellor of Benazir Women University, Professor Dr. Safia, officially welcomed the participants and announced plans for 50 diverse sessions across various locations.<br \/>\nWomen writers and literature enthusiasts from across the province enthusiastically participated in this festival. Notably, special guest Parveen Azam Khan emphasized the diverse linguistic backgrounds of women involved, including Pashto, Urdu, Hindi, and other regional languages.<br \/>\nThe significance of such gatherings was underscored during the event, with renowned TV and radio anchor and writer Bushra Farrukh shedding light on the portrayal of women in literature. The festival featured presentations of works and poems by women poets.<br \/>\nIn his speech, Peshawar Mayor Haji Zubair Ali noted the city\u2019s efforts to create designated parks for women and expressed the intention to continue organizing similar events for women in the future.
