Come and contest elections against us, for this what democracy is.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cProstrations and fasting will be of no use. Only service to the poor will work,\u201d he said while addressing a public rally in Khangarh, Ghotki, on Tuesday. \u201cThere are many problems going on in the world. We have always done the job of the poor. I have been observing for eight years that they are unable to run the country,\u201d he said.<br \/>\n\u201cOpponents do their politics. We will do ours. When we restricted the powers of the President, there was a thought behind it. We have to develop the country and the people,\u201d he added. \u201cMy friends did not listen to me. It caused loss to the country,\u201d he pointed out. \u201cI was the first politician to talk about Palestine. Unfortunately, we are not doing anything about atrocities in Palestine,\u201d he lamented.<br \/>\n\u201cThe PTI chairman was not removed because we need power. We need country not power. It is written on Bhutto\u2019s grave that he is a public servant,\u201d he pointed out. \u201cThe PTI government did not do any development work during its tenure,\u201d he deplored.<br \/>\n\u201cIf there is competition in democracy, there will be good results,\u201d he remarked. \u201cIt is not easy to impose martial law now. Our politics is the politics of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
