\nPakistan cricket team players on Tuesday spent some leisure time and went shopping ahead of their must-win match against defending champions England on November 11.
\nNational squad members including Usama Mir, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Abdullah Shafique and Zaman Khan visited a shopping mall near the team\u2019s hotel in Kolkata.
\nThe Green Shirts will resume their training tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2pm local time after spending a day off today.
\nThe Pakistani players received a warm welcome from the locals during their outing who rushed to take pictures and selfies with them.
\nAside from buying clothes for themselves, Shafique and Mir \u2014 in light of Saud Shakeel\u2019s advice \u2014 bought sarees for their family members as well.
\nThe players had earlier planned to go to a movie as well but didn\u2019t go through with it.
\nEarlier in the day, skipper Babar Azam along with the team\u2019s head coach Grant Bradburn, batting coach Andrew Puttick, and bowling coach Morne Morkel went golfing as the national side took a rest day today (Tuesday).
\nToday\u2019s outing is likely to boost the team\u2019s morale as the Men in Green are not allowed to venture out of their hotel without heavy security, forcing them to spend most of their time in hotel rooms.
\nLast week, team director Mickey Arthur complained of \u201cstifling\u201d COVID-like conditions due to strict security measures.
\n\u201cWhat has been tough is the fact that we\u2019ve been under a massive amount of security. So, I\u2019ve been sort of taken aback.\u201d
