KARACHI: Lashing out at former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, senior PPP leader Khurshid Ahmad Shah said on Friday what else he had done for the country except building motorways. He reminded the PML-N that ports, and not motorways, are built to promote trade. \u201cNo matter whether the person is from Larkana or Lahore; the only way to stop him from becoming the prime minister is through ballot, and not bullet,\u201d he asserted. He was of the view that by not going to jail after returning from London, Nawaz had lost his respect, and not earned it. Khurshid said it was extremely unfortunate that there was no implementation on the agreement signed between Pakistan and Iran on the gas pipeline project in 2008 when the PPP was in power.
