Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa expressed dismay while addressing Punjab\u2019s Additional Advocate General Balighuz Zaman for arguing a futile case.<br \/>\nThe CJP questioned how the provincial government built a road on someone\u2019s land without permission or compensation. The petitioner did not gift the land to the government, nor did the government acquire the land according to the law, he remarked.<br \/>\nAddressing the Additional Advocate General, the CJP Isa said why he filed such a frivolous case in the Supreme Court saying genuine cases are sidelined whereas frivolous and false cases filed. \u201cPublic resources as well as court time are being wasted by filing frivolous cases,\u201d the CJP remarked.<br \/>\nAccording to details, the provincial government had constructed a road in Gujranwala during the year of 2007 on the land of a citizen named Liaquat Ali. The Appellate Court and the high court had ruled in favour of the landlord and the Supreme Court upheld.
