\nTaraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah stressed reforms are crucial in the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold free, fair and transparent polls.
\nShah while talking to different delegations here on Thursday said a level playing field should be ensured for all political parties in the election.
\nHe urged the government election commission to take pragmatic steps so that no one will raise questions on the credibility, fairness and impartiality of the election.
\nHe said these people have always deceived people in elections again and again.
\nRulers were forcing people for their personal interests by depriving them of basic amenities and said it is essential to alter this system, he added.
\nRe-emphasizing setting up of a joint Board of Wisdom and Honest \u2013 BWH to give constitutional protection, Shah said heads and representatives of all institutions include military, judiciary, media, traders and expert, ulema\/religious leaders, scholars, public segments, think tank and lawyers should be given equal representation in the board.
\nThis board should evolve concrete policies and hold accountability and ensure implementation on all decisions, he added.
\nSimilarly, he said the board should be established right from bottom, which should play the role of watchdog on performance of all institutions.
\nHe said decisions should be taken as per public requirement.
\nShah said his party has given a complete system and has conducted homework on it since 2017.
\nHe said all experts, representatives of parliament, judges, heads of armed forces, media and public representatives have been apprised about this project, which is the right path for moving ahead toward the future.
\nThe ATP chief said tug of war for power, corruption, injustice, politics-based on personality and personal interest and tussle for power will be eliminated forever through this joint board.
\nFaiq said the system which has been running for the last 76 years, has become outdated and a station of corruption and the centre of tug of war for power.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
