\nCaretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop 3 Project on Saturday morning and reviewed the progress on the project from Maraka to Bahria Town.
\nDuring the visit, the chief minster inspected the ongoing work on the three under-construction towers of the project at different places.
\nThe Chief Minister also observed the earth work and stone-laying work.
\nMohsin Naqvi directed that the Maraka Interchange should be completed as soon as possible and the construction of the service lane along with the ring road should also be completed within the stipulated period.
\nHe directed the Chairman Lahore Ring Road Authority to visit the project daily. He said the work should be speeded up by employing additional work force and the project should be completed by January in any case.
\nOn the occasion, the Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also chaired a meeting of FWOC which was held at the camp office.
\nFWOK Colonel Ahmed briefed the Chief Minister about the progress of the project.
\nIt was told in the briefing that 42 percent of the work on the project has been completed, 53 percent of the under construction 6 towers and 63 percent of the work of subways is completed.
\nIt was briefed that soil is being poured on the project with 2600 dumpers, soon the number will be increased to 3200 dumpers.
\nChief Minister Punjab was given a detailed briefing about the completed works and timeline of the project.
