\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said hereditary politics can be a threat to democracy while the electoral reforms will strengthen the democratic system in the country.
\nTalking to different delegations from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other regions here on Wednesday said reforms indispensable for transparent, fair and credible elections to lead state and economy toward sustainability.
\nHe also emphasised it is imperative to halt the way of thieves, extra-ordinary use of wealth and pressure in the electoral process.
\nHe asked people to come forward and block the way of thieves in the country\u2019s politics. \u201cOur topmost priority is to ensure public participation in power and to bring justice\u201d,
\nHe urged people to look to new parties and manifestos and reject political goons with power of their vote.
\nThese dacoits for the last 76 years, built up their castle and properties in Dubai and London and made state, economy and politics as personal maid and shelter for the sake of personal interests and political revival, he added.
\nFor the last several decades, one segment squeezed the blood of people and snatched the image of the state, and getting rid from them is the revolution, he added.
\nOur prime objective is to delegate authority to people and bring justice, and not deceive them from fake promises and claims.
\nHe urged people to rightly use the vote and bring up the public and young leadership.
\nSimilarly, he emphasised the gradual strengthening of democracy in the country.
\nIf the objective is to give power in gift to Nawaz and Zardari so there is no need to conduct elections, he added.
\nTalking about preparedness in participation in elections, Shah said hundreds of party\u2019s tickets were awarded phase-wise across the country.
