\nIstehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday that her party will address the masses\u2019 problems.
\nAddressing a press conference in Kamonki, Awan said: \u201cThe country has yet to fulfil the dream of Allama Iqbal. We will work for the sake of uplifting meritocracy.\u201d
\nShe launched a fresh salvo at the PTI, saying, \u201cThe PTI had harmed itself to lead towards political suicide.
\nThe youngsters were incited during the events that transpired on May 9.\u201d
\nFirdous said: \u201cThe PTI did not fulfil the expectations of the masses during its tenure. The PTI had left the state and the masses at loggerheads.\u201d
\nShe said, \u201cThe IPP has looked to change the country\u2019s infrastructure under the leadership of IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan.\u201d
\nFew days back, IPP senior leader Imran Ismail said that his countless efforts for the PTI went in vain. Addressing a press conference flanked by Mehmood Maulvi in Karachi, Ismail recalled.
\n\u201cThere were many reasons that compelled us to form the
\nPTI with the intention of creating Naya Pakistan.\u2019\u2019
\nHe reiterated the events that transpired on May 9, saying, \u201cThose who were not involved in the May 9 violence had separated themselves.
\nHowever, those who were involved in May 9 vandalism are now facing the consequences of what they did.\u201d
\nIsmail said that the May 9 mayhem was the \u201cblack chapter\u201d in the country\u2019s history. He vowed to spill out the beans about the May 9 events in more detail soon. \u2018\u2019The country\u2019s youth had backed the PTI in a bid to see the dreaming of Naya Pakistan getting true,\u2019\u2019 he rued.
\n\u201cI started the struggle for the sake of Naya Pakistan when I was only 26. I was known as the founding leaders of the PTI,\u201d he said.
