\nThe Mutahidda Quami Movement has presented its reservations before the Election Commission of Pakistan over the demarcation of constituencies and level playing field in the forthcoming elections. However, the party from Sindh assumed that the ECP did not take into consideration their objections. An MQM delegation consisting of Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Javed Hanif and Abdul Hafeez met Chief Election Commission Sikandar Sultan Raja and expressed their concerns. Speaking to the media after the meeting, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Sindh has been divided, only an announcement remains to make in this regard. <\/p>\n
He said in Sindh, there is no caretaker setup, rather it\u2019s a PPP setup.
\n\u201cCaretaker governments have come, but in Sindh we are waiting for a caretaker government,\u201d he added. The MQM leader said those who have headed ministries for 10 years, they are still running the government. He complained that the Election Commission did not consider any objection related to Sindh.
\n\u201cWe have great expectations from the Chief Election Commissioner, but we are not convinced. The team under the CEC is compromised.\u201d Siddiqui was of the view if fair elections were not held, then it would create a big problem. The partisanship of the elections is becoming very clear, he maintained.
\nOn this occasion, Farooq Sattar alleged that the mistakes in constituencies were further aggravated. He complained that none of their objections was ever considered.
