The current IMF programme of $3 billion is scheduled to end in early April 2024, with around $1.8 billion remaining undisbursed.<br \/>\nThe lender released $1.2 billion as a first tranche in July. Sources say that the officials of the Ministry of Finance have shown the possibility of calling a meeting on December 7 for the next installment of 700 million dollars, the staff-level agreement between Pakistan and the IMF was reached on November 15.<br \/>\nAccording to sources, the meeting of the IMF Executive Board is likely to be convened 6 to 8 weeks after the agreement, while the Christmas holidays will start in the last 10 days of December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released the schedule till December 12 but the case of Pakistan is not included in the agenda.
