\nThe scores of workers and employees of Dr. Sikander Mandhro, District Head Quarter Hospital Badin were at an impasse over unpaid salaries on Tuesday for what they said deliberately delaying disbursement of budget and salaries.
\nThe Dr. Sikander Mandhro, DHQ hospital Badin (Indus Network) 12oo employees including Doctors, officers and other employees led by HOC, Dr. Akhlaque Ahmed, Rizwan Nizamani, Wasique Ahmed Memon and others took out protest rally and organized protest walk from DHQ hospital and concluded at main road Badin-Karachi against unprecedented delay in the disbursement of the budget of DHQ hospital Badin and their salaries for two months.
\nDuring the protest, employees of DHQ hospital highlighted the critical issue of unpaid salaries, emphasizing that it was already Dec 05, and employees had yet to not receive their salaries for two months.
\nThe employees chanted slogans against the concerned Government department\u2019s authorities responsible for the delay in releasing the DHQ hospital\u2019s approved budget and salary disbursement of its employees as well as this financial crisis had left them unable to meet their daily household expenses.
\nThey said due to the failure of the government of Sindh to release the approved budget on time under the agreement employees of Indus Hospital and Indus Network have not received their salaries for two months. This delay has had severe consequences, as workers were struggling to meet their financial obligations, including children\u2019s education fees and utility bills, they added.
\nDue to the constraint of funds, the DHQ hospital is facing several difficulties in providing quality treatment facilities to the patients and also many facilities have to be closed, they added.
\nCM Sindh announced that 500 million will be released to Indus Hospital, the notification of which has also been issued, but it has been two weeks that the announcement of the CM has not been implemented.
\nDue to non-payment of funds approved by the Sindh Assembly and the Cabinet, two container hospitals of the district have been closed and hundreds of employees have become redundant, they said.
\nThey demanded that the budget announced by the Sindh government should be released to the Indus Hospital immediately so that the patients can be facilitated with quality treatment facilities and the employees to receive their salaries on time.
\nThe protesting employees of DHQ hospital warned that if the Sindh government does not release the budget to Dr. Sikander Mandhro (Indus) Hospital Badin, the employees of the hospital will hold march from the DHQ hospital (Campus) to the city and stage a protest in front of the Badin Press Club, which will may continue until the demands are met<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
