CM says Syed Arshad Hussain Shah the program aimed at better governance, security, and creates employment opportunities for youth

\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah on Monday said that the government should make all out efforts for welfare of the people and establishment of law and order situation in the province.
\nHe said the KP government is all set to launch \u2018Khushal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa program, a new program to improve the law and order situation, ensure better governance, create employment opportunities for the youth, make the public service system in line with public expectations and solve financial problems of the province.
\nChairing the 17th meeting of the interim Cabinet, KP-CM revealed that the \u2018Khushal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa program has been devised to provide maximum relief to masses and directed quarters concerned to ensure better implementation of the program across the province.
\nThe program will provide a road map for the incoming government to continue the public welfare initiatives, he said and added governance, financial stability and improvement of law and order situation are at the top of the agenda of the program.
\nCabinet members, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, and other high-ups attended the meeting.
\nSyed Arshad Hussain said that attention will be given while IT based courses will be conducted according to the demands of the international market to enable the youth to get employment abroad.
\nHe furthered that under this program, up to 0.5 million youth will be sent abroad for employment in the next one year.
\nThe provincial cabinet has approved non-AD programs to eradicate stomach worms among school-going children during the financial year 2023-24.
\nThe forum also accorded approval to the scheme with a cost of Rs218.7 million.
\nThe meeting approved the appointment of Ehsanullah (PCS BS-20) to fill the vacant post of Managing Director (MD) of Forest Development Corporation.
\nHowever, the issuance of the declaration in this regard will be subject to the NOC of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
\nThe cabinet approved the transfer of 4 kanals of government land to the judiciary for the construction of a judicial complex in Tehsil Shringal, District Dir Upper.
\nThe cabinet also directed that wherever judicial courts are to be built in the future, revenue and administrative court buildings should also be built so that people and lawyers can easily go to different courts.
\nThe provincial government also approved the removal of the ban imposed on the repair and maintenance of government buildings and offices under the Department of Communications and Construction.
\nIn the meeting, various reports were reviewed on the issue of inclusion of Malakand Levies in the police.
\nThe provincial cabinet approved recommendations to reduce expenditure on printing and publishing of free (textbook) textbooks.
\nImplementation of the recommendations will reduce the burden on the provincial exchequer. However, the budget allocated for textbooks for FY-24 2023 will be maintained and the cabinet also approved the funds required by the Tax Book Board for printing textbooks for the next year.
\nOn this occasion, the Chief Minister directed that the Department of Education should also review the method and possibilities of distributing soft books to the students so that if possible, books can be provided to the students at a minimum cost.
\nApproved the payment of arrears of school teachers and the Cabinet, removing the ambiguity of the earlier decision, declared that in the light of the recommendations of the said committee, the dues of the teachers and staff were paid soon.
\nIt should be noted that this issue of the above-mentioned employees has been pending in various courts including the Supreme Court for the past 25 years and the cabinet has allocated the funds required to pay the salaries of the teachers of Governor Model Schools in the adjoining districts for ten months.
\nApproval has been given which will enable payment of salaries. In the context of the above two decisions, the cabinet directed that the release of the minutes of the cabinet should not be waited for and that the dues should be paid to the teachers as soon as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
