\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said delegating power to young and competent people has become inevitable in the country.
\nChairing a meeting here at the party\u2019s central secretariat on Monday, the party leader said hereditary politics has brought colossal damages and pushed the country back many years, stating that rulers have always prioritized personal vested interests over people issues and interests.
\nSomeone betrayed Roti, Kapra and Makan, someone deceived in the name of the so-called change and multiple\/different slogans but they failed to keep their promises.
\nHe maintained instead of uplifting living standards of people, rulers have only added to public miseries.
\nThe ATP chief noted laws and constitution made for only personal interests and politics while rulers had kept deprived people from basic amenities and rights, they don\u2019t deserve any kind of forgiveness and people will soon hold them accountable.
\n\u201cWe want to empower people and ensure the transformation of powers at grassroots level,\u201d.
\nIn this regard, he said his party has consistently carried out an organised campaign for public authority and justice, which has brought fruitful results, and a large number of people have become part of this drive and joined the ATP.
\nShah said the party has a complete solution of the crisis which has also been given to government, opposition and relevant stakeholders. If it would be implemented with true spirit then the country could set a path of sustainable economic growth and development.
\nThe party leader held present and former rulers responsible for current economic chaos.
\nHe called for tapping indigenous resources and reserves to make the country economically self-reliant and free from the clutches of foreign lenders, i.e IMF and WB.
\nExpressing grave concern over rising echoes of delay in election, he said polls postponement is never in great favour of the country.
\nFaiq urged the interim government and election commission to take pragmatic steps for creating a conducive environment and level playing field for all political parties.
\nAt the same time, Shah demanded reforms to remove intervention of wealth, pressure and rigging in electoral process and no one will raise questions on credibility and fairness of the election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
