\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has prepared a appeal for the return of the election symbol \u201cBat\u201d which will be filed in Islamabad High Court today (Monday).
\nA constitutional petition along with that also been prepared against Election Commission of Pakistan\u2019s verdict. which will be filed in Supreme Court.
\nAn early hearing is also being requested in the application.
\nThe application has been prepared on the direction of Chairman Barrister Gohar, who himself will appear in the High Court and request the court to return the bat symbol.
\nSources said that PTI has also prepared an application under Article 184(3) of the Constitution to approach the Supreme Court, which will be followed by Sardar Latif Khan Khosa Advocate.
\nIt should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gauhar had said that he will approach the court to take back the symbol of the bat and it is hoped that the Supreme Court will intervene and our symbol will be restored.
\nSpeaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that he does not consider Cipher case as an open trial, it is a violation of the orders of the IHC, every human being has basic rights, the courts should take it seriously.
\nEfforts are being made in the cipher case to ensure that no one gets out of jail. We have not been provided with any certified copies yet.
\nHe said that everything is happening in a hurry, the Supreme Court clearly said to do everything, the criminal trial cannot be done in a hurry, except for none of us, the criminal trial is being done in a hurry.
\nBarrister Gohar said that he will approach the court to take back the symbol of the bat, I hope the court will do justice, God willing, the apex court will intervene and our symbol will be restored.
\nHe said the bat is the symbol of 70% of the people of Pakistan. No one can take away any symbol allotted to you.
\nHe said that Supreme Court is also an option to approach.
\nChairman PTI further said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) did not mention in the order whether those who submitted the applications were part of PTI or not, the Election Commission did not mention that we violated any law or regulation. Yes, there can be no objection to our intra-party election.
