\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party while commenting on the prevailing election scenario, stressing the need for making elections free, fair and transparent through reforms.
\nThe ATP chief remarked transparent elections, through inclusivity, accountability and transparency, are fundamental in democracy, ensuring the rule of law and enabling people to have a final say in decision-making and state affairs.
\nAccording to a statement issued here on Monday, Shah said if aims to bring a \u2018selected\u2019 people, so don\u2019t need to waste national wealth and resources on elections.
\nHe said the purpose is to do only nomination by using national wealth worth billions of rupees, resources and machinery so it is better that they do everything without election.
\nHe noted poor people have faced with tense pressure ahead of the election.
\nSpecific segments are in search of \u201cLottay\u2019 and money, and they were putting pressure on poor and unprivileged people, Shah remarked.
\n\u201cWe have brought ordinary people to election, and they will remove pressure, rigging and use of wealth in elections,\u201d
\nFaiq said ATP is making vigorous efforts to make election easier for everyone but occupant elites and powerful people have put immense pressure.
\nHe called it pre-poll rigging, and asked the election commission to take notice of it.
\nThe party leader said none of the political parties has an agenda, manifesto and program, except their only personal political survival and race of power, saying that people shouldn\u2019t be deceived again and again from them.
\nFew segments grabbed power and public resources in Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the only way to get freedom from them is a manifesto and program of a new political party, shah said.
\nFaiq reminded his party will contest the election under public authority and the justice manifesto.
\nHe was of the view that only honest and capable leadership can take Pakistan out of crises for which a workable plan had already been given to government, institutions and relevant stakeholders.
\nShah said the ATP has issued tickets, proving that it is moving ahead in establishing direct contact with people and other parties are still busy in finding Lottay and horses, the ATP chief said.
\nAddressing ticket holders, Faiq said they should make day and night contact with people and raise public voice for resolution of their issues and transform power to people through a democratic way.
\nHe gave a message to workers and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of the country that the ATP struggle is to give them power and asked them to come forward and no one will snatch their rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
