\nMuhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said that he believed in the power of people, saying time has come to change the fate of Pakistan.
\nThe ATP chairman said people should recognise those people who looted the country for several decades and kept them deprived from authorities, rights and facilities.
\nShah while addressing a public gathering and joining ceremony here on Wednesday emphasized that votes should be given to new political parties and manifesto.
\nATP is the name of a movement, which is vigorously conveying the message of people, democracy, provision of public authority and justice by carrying out door to door campaigns, he added.
\nHe made it clear that Pakistan\u2019s issues cannot be resolved until delegating authorities to people and ensuring their equal participation in political process and decision-making process.
\nTalking about the February 8 polls, he said the people should give a chance to new political parties to serve the nation as those who ruled over decades in the country have failed to solve the problems facing the people.
\nThe party leader said the occupant group and political chessmen are in search of \u2018selection\u2019.
\nShah said it is not an election, but a joke.
\nHe said if the quest is to bring \u2018selected\u2019 people then no need to waste the national wealth on the election.
\nHe called to free the country and people from traditional politics and bring a true public representative government to resolve issues on fast-track grounds.
\nShah said the nation has an opportunity to get rid of tried and tested parties in the February 8 election.
\nCommenting on the current state of the country and its people, Faiq said inflation has touched its toll, as no one is paying heed to growing public miseries.
\nOn the other hand, he said electricity and gas were consistently increasing, which were further adding to public\u2019 owes.
\nHe said caretakers have failed to ease the difficulties of poor people, who have been victimized by former rulers\u2019 wrong policies.
